Ads on MFP

So, this doesn't directly relate to motivation/support in the MFP community, but... as I was reading another person's post on the site, both the right side-bar and the top panel advertisements were for Domino's pizza! Advertising the 2 medium pizzas for $5.99 each or whatever it is, and they featured prominent photos of cheesy, doughy, delicious-looking pizza. I don't know how much control MFP has over the ads on the site (some, I would imagine?), but I much prefer ads like the next several I saw, for Estee Lauder make-up. Cosmetics are some of my favorite rewards for achieving mini-goals and such, while pizza definitely is not!

I saw that domino's ad the other day, too. Oh my god it made me crave pizza so bad.

whilst i agree with you i tend to not take notice of ad's.
this site has gotta be free to use somehow and for them to be able to keep it that way they need to get paid from advertisers.
altho i really do agree that they shouldnt be ad's going against what we are all trying to achieve, its the same in everyday life tho its all about willpower it will make us all stronger in the end just to ignore them
