well tomorrow is my girls 6th birthday party and i had to bake a cake for her. Its really touch making something like that and not eating it. Here is a pick of what it looks like

hers is purple

its great lol but i did lick my fingers during hte icing process so i had to guess about 2 table spoons becaue it took 1 hour 45 mins to decorate!
LOL darn cake taste so good!!

    good for you, only a couple of tastes. I tend to bake or fix stuff I can eat, or stuff I hate. could you have made it suger free? I used to love to bake and actually do several sugar free pies for friends and family. lots of work. but they are not low in calorie. I will post my muffins.

    That cake is BEAUTIFUL......You must have a lot of patients to do that.:wink: Your daughter is going to love it.:drinker: It's a shame to eat it as pretty as it is.:happy: I can see why you would be tempted to taste a little icing.:laugh: What about when it's sliced? you have to have a little piece on your plate to celebrate with your daughter, oh how they grow so fast:noway: Hope you get lots of good pictures.     Wow, I must say my tummy is growling, my mouth is drooling and wide open, my eyes are throbbing from eyeball devouring that cake! Sweet job resisting the cake so well, you must post though what it tastes like, oh I can't wait for my birthday, last year I got a dirtyworms pie ( was TDY ) presented by my fiance in a very special way, if you ever want to adopt anyone, my birthday is Nov 6th, I like airplanes, outdoors and I can assure you the cake mix bowl will be spotless!:bigsmile:

    I made 40 ice cream cake cones for my sons preschool "last day"!!!
    It took me forever, and they kept toppling over on each other and I had to keep fixing them, and...
    darn! the icing was getting all over my fingers!
    I must of had a couple of tbs of chocolate frosting by the time I was done!
    and I HAD to lick the spoon!
    Isn't baking fun?!!

    Awesome Cake. My son's bday party was yesterday. I did not resist , though I never had any intention of resisting lol. We had a great day with lots of fun and family and gifts and too much food. That said I felt like caca all evening and back to the healthy way today. Boy that sausgae was good lol
