I am so frustrated. I make these food choices that I know are wrong and most defintely don't help with weight loss. It is almost as though my head is totally committed and wants an awesome end result, but making those choices seems so hard; yet should be so simple. Sorry, more of a rant towasrds myself. We have rough days but I can't let it sidetrack me. I will start again tomorrow. It is almopst as though I need to make a checklist for myself (how to function withn a normal day but alsmo lay out meals and track them the day before so I don't get in these positions). Any thoughts on how to be successful? Sounds so basic, but my ultimate goal is to lise 120 and ( am struggling to get to just 5. Blah. Thanks for your time and for reading.....

 I feel the same way. I did everything right and no weightloss. But that's okay cause I am doing something healthy for my body. I guess the scale will catch up one day:ohwell: So don't give up our bodies need us.:flowerforyou:0

Plan your meals in advance. Put them into your diary in the morning. Pretend that that is all you have for the day. Works for me. Also, remove tempting foods from your house & do not go through a drive through window under no circumstances!0

You doing fab hun. I would suggest to make a weeks menu up of healthy meal etc and stick to it. If this is hard for now then make sure you dont have rubbish food in and I would by prepared meals ie weight watchers or something similar that is healthy. Make sure you drink water and have a good lunch. I work shifts and find it hard to eat on shift, so if im on an early I make a quick sandwich up some fruit and water, and I have a light meal in the evening with protein and veg. If i work a late i have my main meal at lunch time, and a sandwich in the evening on shift. it works. Once you get into a routine you will be fine, it just takes a while to get going. youll be fine but we are here to support. xx0

you have to really understand why you are making those bad food choices when you know they are hindering your progress.
I do the same, right now I want popcorn with melted butter. It is simple, it tastes good, and I use it as an activity. When I am bored (even when I am with others) I treat food like an activity. Hey let us go out to Chan's. Let's go to the bar to watch the game. Let's order pizza and rent a movie. Let's grab some coffee. Food is an actiivity to me...when I started to do other activities, I start saying no to that popcorn...in fact, I think I am going to eat some berries, some crab, and a 5 cal jello and clean my room.I am so frustrated. Wise words and great ideas everyone; thanks. I agree about no drivethrough, but Taco Bell has had my name lately. Time to change my number. True about food being an "activity" so true. I had not thought of that before. Thanks, too, for the offer of support. LOVE MFP. I can just be...good day, bad week, all a different spots along the journey. Whoo hoo! Here's to us and our bodies! Oh, and to less typos next time I post.....Good God, Ethel....0
