No worries!
Pick back up and start from today.
It's amazing how calories add up - that's why it's so important to track them, no matter how hard.
A good idea to input the foods before you eat, if you can, then you can decide whether to eat.
Suggestion - get some good exercise in this week and drink lots of water.
This is a life change - one weekend is not going to hold you back

Don't worry! it happens to the best of us. Weekends (and alcohol!) are such a pain.
Just don't dwell on it & get back on track today.0 -
Don't fret....keep focused...you can do it. We all go down that road at one point. Good luck 0

Dont get dragged down by one bad day - put it behind you and focus on today and tomorrow !0

Thanks guys! Have taken advice and logged all my dinners for the next week...we shall overcome!0

I did the same thing..absolutely atrocious all weekend. Ate everything in sight and then some, and did no exercise. I feel so gross now..however, we can always jump back on the wagon, and know there's awesome MFPers who've been there before and still support us, give us the boost up that we need. So I'm there with you, drink plenty of water, find an awesome salad or make some fresh soup, and have a revitalising walk!
Feels good being back on the wagon!0 -
Dont worry i did the same thing, i pretty much ate everything in sight yesterday and didn't exercise, but today is a new day. I consider yesterday my cheat day.0

my downfall this weekend was alcohol. Only planned to have two glasses wine on Saturday - BUT - where I hadnt eaten much during the day it only took two glasses for me to lose focus!.. coupled with the fact that I appeared to have a self filling glass.. was a BAD day!
double whammy on the upset - managed to sprain a muscle in my stomach and so cannot train easily0 -
I did too!!! I lost 7 pounds so far (its been 2 weeks) and went to a party Saturday night in Manhattan - I did drink lots (vodka & club soda - which is pretty low in calories) but yesterday I was so hungover I ate very, very poorly. I've been beating myself up over it - hoping I didn't undo all the hard work I've been putting in :-(0

I don't think that you can beat yourself up over it. We all have slipups and then we look back and wonder "Why did I do that?"
It is one of the hardest things to do; dieting and going out with friends who aren't. It is ok to slip once, you pick yourself back up and get right back on track. You found out early instaed of later.
If I may suggest, log your meals, etc at least daily. That will help you better track what you are doing and where you are going. For example, once a week, my husband and I have date night. I knew that I wanted a few "extra" calories for the meal that we were going to have, since we were going out. I planned my day with little meals during the day so that I could have a few leftover to add into my dinner out with him. BUT, boy does that one glass of wine add up!! Why did it seem like my glass was always full? I know that I drank some out of it! :noway:
Don't worry, you will be ok. Now, you know where your weakness is (and mine). Today is Monday, new week, new day.0 -
I'm already worried about this weekend....my birthday is Friday and everything planned revolves around food. My kid will kill me if I don't eat a piece of cake, especially since he's making it himself and quite excited about it. And I'm meeting friends for lunch on Sunday, but I can find healthy menu choices that still taste good - but it still really sucks :-(0
