Need to make a real change

I was so bad this weekend. Mom's 50th birthday...surprise party, Chevys and alcohol...lots of alcohol :drinker: But it's not only that that's bothering me. I've been eating whatever I want with portion control and exercising so I haven't been gaining weight but I haven't been losing either. Eating the right portions worked for a while, but I know I need to change my eating habits. I'm seriously addicted to crappy food. I need to eat better and it's going to be really really hard for me. So if you could give me your support I'd really appreciate it Thanks guys.

First of all, you look great.:flowerforyou:
I hear you. It is hard. You just have to say it is time and do it and do it. They will be times that failure will happen, but we learn from that. Life isn't perfect, and we will all hit the highs and lows. That is how we learn and move on. I have been pretty bad myself. I have hung a list of goals for the week. I keep reminding myself that I can do it.
Step by step and day by day, and you will get right back on track.
Think postitive and go for it.
Much luck to you0 -

Maybe you could make a list of the "crappy" food you are addicted to, and we can help you find healthy alternatives that taste great! We are all in the same boat here, trying to lose weight the right way, which includes not taking away everything you enjoy, otherwise you will not stick with it.0 -

Fast food. Seriously. I don't believe in cutting anything out completely, which is why I've allowed myself to eat fast food still but less of it. The problem is that one bite makes me have more and more. No matter how much I tell myself I'm not gonna have it again, I always do. And more each time. In a nut shell, I grew up going from basketball game to basketball game because my dad was a coach. Fast food was pretty much what I was raised on. And then when I started playing sports it got even worse because we were out on the go even more. It's like a comfort. I really believe I am addicted to it. So I know I have to give it up completely and it's going to be hard. Thanks for the support.
