this is vital information for your kids when they come to australia:bigsmile:
"Are you touring Australia or thinking of Touring Australia?
Have you heard about the dangers of the "Drop Bear" on tourists in the Australian Bush?
If not, that is exactly why you need to join - to help raise awareness of the Drop Bear.
The Drop Bear is a carnivorous australian mammal that, although rare, is known to drop from trees and bite bush walkers in vicious attacks.
Drop Bears closely resemble Koalas, with several subtle differences:
- Koalas do not grow up to 2m in height,
- Koalas do not have prominent blood-sucking fangs (up to 3" long), and
- Koalas do not have anal teeth, that can chew a shoulder to the bone in under 5 seconds, and
- Koalas do not have extremely fat arses to crush prey that they land on.
- Koalas do not grow thick dark curly hair over their bodies. The best way to describe the coat of a drop bear is to imagine a koala covered in a coat of steel wool.
- Koalas don't weigh 3 tonnes
Help Raise Awareness and prevent more brutal attacks!
