    I just got a LA Fitness membership.... 49$ start up fee and 29.99 a month.... I talked the price down from 39.99

    LA Fitness CAN be reasonable if you get on a group discount or really good deal! .... Otherwise you can expect to pay a bundle of money upfront and a pretty good monthly fee. My LA wanted $250 up front and $29.99 per month just for me, and an additional $100 upfront and $29.99 for my husband!!!

    I go to 24hr fitness for $30.06 a month. I am limited to just that 1 club but I don't travel so that is fine for me.

    I pay £36 a month which is gym, classes and pool. No start up fees.
