Newb with 42# to kick to the curb

Hello,

I'm a newb to here, but not to weight loss. Kind of ticked with myself, as I got to within 15 or so pounds of my goal weight, struggled to finish what I started, gained a bit back but maintained around the 190 mark for a year or so. I ended up having some health issues last summer which resulted in surgery. The reality of it was that I was really only off my game for a few months, but 6 months of being lazy has added 20# to my body.

I'm angry about it, but I'm not feeling hopeless. I know how to lose weight, and I do it sensibly with proper nutrition and exercise. I'm just here to meet some new people, find the support I'm going to need in order to do what I know needs to get done, and log my food/exercise in order to keep myself honest. It's a lot harder to eat the garbage my mom bakes and brings over if I don't know how to calculate it and fit it into my daily caloric allowance, LOL
