Hello all!

My name's Sara and I'm 23 years old. I've never been thin, but I have looked athletic/smaller/healthy at one point, I think I was about 15 or 16 when that was! So anyways, the weight crept on moreso through high school slowly, and through college and after that too lol. I finally turned it around in July 2010 (1 year before my wedding). Gradually, and steadily I dropped 24 pounds over 5 months. I worked out very inconsistently and ate small portions of whatever I wanted. For example, I would eat 3 pieces of pizza for the entire day. Yeah - not very healthy! But why would I change when I was still losing weight? Well, I was getting really sick and finally hit my plateau come November. I waited until after the new year to decide to make a change.

I heard about My Fitness Pal from my fiance who also just started using it, and I am in love with it. I've been tracking for one week and already lost FIVE POUNDS this week! I've been eating way more than I ever have (1200-1400 calories per day), and worked out 4 days last week! I am so excited to take off 25-40 more pounds before July. I have every confidence I can do it with this application/website. My iPhone is always with me so there are no excuses not to succeed.
