I always seem to go over my protein way before getting near to my carbs or fats..is it okay to get the extra protein? any help please

    Hi! I would think it better than the fats and carbs! i do it too but still seem to lose evey week!! Best wishes!

    Yes MFP is rather low in the protein allotment, 15%. A balance diet can consist of protein intake as high as 30%. So you can eat up to double the amount of protein and be fine. Many MFP users go into their profile and change the % allotted to protein and reduce fat and/or carbs.

    It's fine. I personally think MFP has the protein goal set too low. I manually raised my protein goal and lowered my fat goal and it's working out for me pretty well.
