Losing weight and being cold

OK, dumb question alert: I'm usually very hot natured, but in recent weeks I've noticed I've been colder a bit more often, is this normal when you lose weight? Does losing 40 pounds of "insulation" not keep you as warm? Now I'm going blow on my fingers and try to thaw them out as you respond!

It makes sense that you would not be as warm. However, I had to reply cause I was laughing about you thawing your fingers out while waiting on replies.0
