Should I or Shouldn't I? That is the question....

This is my first time posting a topic, but I need some advice. Since starting MFP I utilized the scale at work to track my progress; however, I have recently changed employers, thus, I cannot be 100% sure of the accuracy of my weight loss. The last time I weighed myself (using said scale) I was only 2 pounds away from my initial goal. I am wondering if I should just scratch my current goal, and go ahead and update my ticker to reflect my ultimate goal (which is about 17lbs) and buy a new scale to start fresh or if I should buy the new scale and continue with the current goal that I have set? Secretly, I would like to see my ticker read 0 before I start a new goal, but it may not be the best idea. So what would you do? After buying the new scale should I keep the current goal set or update to my ultimate goal?
Thanks in advance!!!
