Ladies... hairy chest on your man or no?
So I was going to wait until I reached my goal weight to pose this question but last night I was out with some co-workers who were asking about my weight loss and I showed them my current before and after picture (shown below)... overwhelmingly, the first response was "damn you've lost a ton!" but the overwhelming 2nd comment was "damn! you are a hairy M-Fer!"
So I guess I gotta figure this out before summer time arrives, do I wax all this stuff off or keep my manhood and rock the man-sweater proudly at the beach?

Definite yes!! :smokin:
And great job on your weight loss!! :drinker:0 -
Definite yes!! :smokin:
Yes wax, or yes keep it???
I don't have that dilemma so it is not something I have ever thought about myself.0 -
I'm gonna say NO. but with that said, I don't think yours is excessive.0
-
you are a guy who happens to have hair on your chest. leave it! lol girls like a nice happy trial and if you start waxing or shaving now you will have to do it forever which can be annoying.0
-
First of all, great on on the weight loss and the pics are amazing.
Secondly, I don't think you are THAT hairy and yes it is not 1975 so hair is out, but sometimes when men wax they end up looking worse cuz they get bumps and rashes and break out.
So my opinion is keep the hair, unless it is on your back then def wax that. If you insist on waxing start doing it in like March before the shirt comes off so your skin has time to adapt to the shock,0 -
I don't like it when men wax their chests. Men are suppose to have hairy chests. Just my opinion but I like "manly" men.
Now the back....that is a bit different.
Great job on the weight loss!!! You are doing awesome!!0 -
I agree. Once you start, you prolly have to keep it up. natural is best0
-
I'd say wax the chest but keep the little tummy trail, that's always sexy0

His questions was: "do I wax all this stuff off or keep my manhood and rock the man-sweater proudly at the beach?" answering no doesn't answer, no don't wax it or no don't rock it at the beach???0 -
I really don't think you are that hairy at all so I say keep it  And like Tash said if you start you can't stop.0
-
A: Congrats on the weight loss, you look fantastic!
B: Agree with everyone who thinks men should have some hair, if you're not a competitive swimmer, don't wax0 -
its for sure not enough hair to gross me out. I think it should stay.0

First of all, great job! You look fantastic. Secondly, I like hair on my man, its well...manly. With that being said, certain things need to be kept up with. The hair on your chest is great, fine, but if it creeps up past your neck line, you need to clip it off. Too much hair is disgusting, which yours is not. Now, as for back hair, have a close friend trim that if you have any. also, any stray hairs on your neck, make sure they are gone. Also, mens ears inside and out should not have hair on them. Pay extra attention to this as you may not look there often.
Good luck. and again you look fabulous!0 -
Either one I think looks great UNLESS!!! They have hair on their chest and then wax or shave it off...that I find extremely unattractive (for whatever that's worth). Definitely be proud...lots of women find the hair seksy (like me!) And they probably said what they did and then walked away wishing they could run their fingers thru it :P (oh yes....even the guys who waxed theirs all off prolly thought it too...OH YES THEY DID!!)
On you, I think it looks really hawt /wink
And /highfive on your AMAZING weightloss0 -
I think your hairy chest is just fine, you've seen 40 year old virgin right?0
-
oh my word! A) EXCELLENT job and you are definitely not THAT hairy! I think it's sexy!0
-
I personally don't think you are that hairy...I wouldn't mess with it. Most women won't mind, and if they do, oh well! You won't be able to keep it up forever.0
-
Rock the man-sweater proudly and keep on rockin' with your weight loss. You look mah-va-lussss! Congrats!0
-
I agree with many of the above posters. You really don't have that hairy of a chest, and I think it looks just fine on you. It's bad enough that women have to keep up with shaving their legs & etc... Keep the hair and save yourself time and money!!0

1st Congrats on the weight loss! your doing awesome!
2nd if you start the hair removal you will have to keep doing so. Men should have hair on the chest.... not so much on the back. Your hairy chest is not excessive. I have SEEN men with sweaters and that is a bit too much for my taste. Hope that helps!~0 -
Keep the chest hair!
Now if you have back hair...... :00 -
Keep it! I agree with a previous post that said if you start now, you will always have to do it! That would get really annoying really fast! So be happy with your weight loss (which is awesome!) and rock it on the beach!0
-
You look great! I am most likely bucking trend but I will say, LET IT GO!! Nair or wax works well and as a man you don't really have to do it that often. Its just the initial that is the hard part. It will define your chest more and show off your hard work.0
-
Keep the hair!
I think maybe they were shocked by the hair because they didn't expect you to be a hairy guy.
I have been like that with guys I have dated in the past. They took their shirts off for the first time and I was thinking "that was unexpected" but not in a bad way. I like the chest hair and as someone posted above, a happy trail is always nice too.

First, CONGRATS on your awesome weight loss!!!! Second, as others have said...you aren't crazy hairy. I wouldn't say you have a 'sweater' there .
Having said that, I personally wish all men would wax their chests. I am weird on hair. My hubby is working out hard and getting toned. I asked him the other day if I could get him liqoured up enough to wax him. He didn't think that was funny...wooops =0 I think I kinda pissed him off. But, luckily he got over it. If you opt for hair removal, don't shave it. Stubble would be worse...eek.0 -
LOL. You are totally NOT that Hairy! WTH were your Co-Workers talking about???
There are very few guys who don't get hair on their chests! Those that don't... Oh well, they hit the jackpot (much like the chick's who don't get overgrown eyebrows/upper lips/legs etc - You don't think we stay smooth by accident do you???)... Guys that did get blessed with it, I say wear it proudly!!!! I think it's nice personally and have never had an issue with it. Girls who are reasonably mature usually feel the same.
Let me tell ya, waxing is no bueno. We do it because we need to. Excess hair on females isn't cute (I've been crammed on public transport on more than one occassion with a hairy hippie and it's not cute) so we suck it up.
If your carpet starts to grow onto your florrboards (ie: You back) then I would suggest some maintenance. Right now though, you look good, you've lost a lot of weight and there's nothing wrong with your appearance.0 -
I think your hairy chest is just fine, you've seen 40 year old virgin right?
HAHAHAHA!!! That's the first thing I thought of. "You look like a Man-O-Lantern!!!"0 -
Compared to my VERY SEXY man, you're not hairy. He's gorgeous and a little furry. Like cuddling with a beautiful, blue eyed teddy bear.
Keep it, wax it - that's up to you. Personally, I want a man to look like a man. period.0
