So I've been slack for 6 months, costing me to navigate 42# away from a goal weight that I was once just 17# away from. This disgusts me and it's taken a lot of overcoming of negative feelings to get back in the right frame of mind and 'giving a crap' enough to get moving again.

I've been weighing out and logging my food starting this week, and also working out. My plan is treadmill daily at home in conjunction with a twice a week hour long workout at the gym with my fiance. We go to Planet Fitness, where there is a large cardio area, lots and lots of weight machines and free weights, but the coolest thing there to me is the section for 30 minute workouts. It's a circuit training area, similar to Curves and Ladies Workout Express. I'm not big on establishing my own strength training routines, but the circuit does that for me, so it's fantastic.

Anyways, so I get into the circuit after running 5k on the treadmill and I get to working out in there. I sit at a machine, do some upper body, then move over to the stepper but unlike all the other folks in there just clunking their feet up, up, down down, up up, down down, I got on there doing jump squats, LOL. Then I was doing sumo squats, high paced steps, I would have made my old personal trainer happy.

Wasn't long after I got in there, I noticed the lady a few stations in front of me starting to pick up her game a bit :) We chatted a bit here and there while we were moving from station to station, and when I was leaving, she made the time to come over to me and say 'Thank you'. I said 'LOL for what?' and she said "I've never worked out that hard in here before. I feel like I really got a great workout in tonight because of you. When are you going to come back?'

That made me feel so good. Almost as good as the 755 calories I burned in there tonight. WOOHOO!!!!
