not enough protein

Hi! This is my second time trying my fitness pal. I find that I am not allowed enough protein. I have always heard that protein is better then carbs, but I seem to go over my protein counts so quickly?? Any suggestions?? BTW...Looking for friends and motivators.

    manually adjust them. You don't have to stick to what is default. I would probably go upto 30% protein.

    It's OK to go over your protein. But you can go to Tools and then Settings and change your settings. I have had gastric bypass surgery and require 50 to 60 grams of protein a day. Good luck and "friend" me if you like.:smile:

    My husband's nutritionist says we need between 60-100 grams of protein per day. I aim for that range, and I don't worry about what MFP says I should have. So far it's still working! Plus, protein keeps you fuller, longer.
