Having a bad day!

Hey all,
My day started bad and has not got better yet! Bad night's sleep courtesey of 2 youngest and eating not so great! I'm about 200 calories over where I usually am at this time of day, making me worry about the evening - my munchies time!
My brain is in a fog today, either need food or sleep and food will make me feel crap and sleep is impossible with the 3 kids to look after, lol. I know that I'm ok to eat more calories, but it's a bit of a mental battle with me at the moment. I've switched my goals to 'maintain' rather than lose, which gave me an extra 400 a day, but I'm still not feeling I can eat all that without gaining. I've been upping to around 1400 a day rather than the 1200 I was aiming for. It would be ok if the scales were telling me I was staying the same, but they have been up and down by a few kgs lately so not sure what to believe!!
Also not done my exercise for the day yet. Am supposed to be doing my DVD and walking with a group of friends later - may skip the walk though as that's not until 8pm and I'm just so tired today. However, the thought of getting through the 30 Day Shred or 6 week Abs is daunting to say the least! Was really hoping to wake up feeling bright and chirpy and full of energy today. Ugh, hate days like this!
Sorry to moan, but everyone around me is fed up with listening, lol.

You're not alone! We all have those days! I was sick all day on Sunday so I didn't work out. Didn't work out on Monday because I still felt a little out of it. Today's workout was BAD. I did it, but not like I really should have. BUT tomorrow is another day so that's what I keep telling myself. I would skip the workout and go for the walk. You get out of the house for a bit, chat with some friends and before you know it you feel better! Good luck!0

Sleep is important and has a drastic affect on you.
I know doing nightshift , I look for comfort food and my exercise isnt anywhere as good as it should be.
Dont beat yourself up , get a goodnight sleep ( easier said than done sometimes ) and have a better day tomorrow0
