Not going to let nursing school weigh me down!

Hi!
My husband and I recently joined to try and take control of our lives in the midst of a chaos. My husband works full time, tutors on the side and is 6 months away from completing his Master's degree. This summer I quit my full time job to go back to college for a second bachelor's degree and began a two year nursing program. In addition to school I have a leadership position on campus and work part time. Needless to say we are a bit busy and in the past few months have been less strict and let our healthy habits go by the wayside. Since I have recently swithced to a more sedentary lifestyle (sitting in class and studying) it has also had an impact on my energy level and waistline. I have finally reached my breaking point (and my pants have too) and decided it was time to take drastic measures. We can't continue on with the way we were living and keep telling ourselves we will do damage control later and work on getting in shape after we both graduate.
This process is time consuming and I have very limited time in my life, but it is well worth it. With school I have totally become a list person and being able to see exactly what my up to the second progress is satisfies that need. I just hope that I can keep up with this and won't stop because of the hassle. If anyone has any advice at all I will greatly appreciate it! If anyone has survived nursing school and most especially while working on weight loss I would love to hear from you!
What are some of your favorite low calorie snacks? I am looking for more options.
Thanks!
