Remember the article I posted last week about the guy who got attacked in the gym for shouting out too much?
Well, his attacker was cleared!
A Wall Street stock broker has been acquitted on charges of throwing a fellow health club member into a wall during a cycling class.
A Manhattan Criminal Court jury found 44-year-old Christopher Carter not guilty of assault against hedge-fund manager Stuart Sugarman.
Carter had complained about the 48-year-old Sugarman's loud hollering and grunting during the high-impact spin class and asked him to quiet down. Sugarman admitted that he refused. He said Carter lifted his exercise bike and hurled him into a wall, damaging a disc in his neck.
Both men weigh about 200 pounds.
A juror says the jury did not believe Carter caused Sugarman's injury. Jurors thought the injury occurred earlier.

Wow, weird...well maybe we didn't get the whole story. Perhaps they had evidence that the neck injury was old or something. They both sound like idiots though. Maybe the assaulter will get pushed over on his bike in a twist of karmic revenge.0

Wonder how many calories a 200 pound man burns up by lifting another 200 pound man and an exercise bike and tossing them both across the room??0 -
When I used to go to a gym (a LONG time ago..:ohwell: ) there was a guy that would grunt & loudly pant and who just made a *kitten* out of himself.
I don't think I would have minded if someone threw him across the floor. :bigsmile:0
