Okay, so I've lost some weight, and I was really feeling good about it! Okay...so I let it go to my head!:embarassed: So, I'm coming home from the gym last night after a good evening of cardio and weight training, and my kids are like "mommmiiiieeeeee...we're hungry! What's for dinner?" Well, I was tuckered out! I actually sat in the car in front of the grocery store with EVERY INTENTION of going in to get something healthy to cook for dinner. My mind said "grilled chicken, stir fried veggies and brown rice." But.....the youngest of my children got to me. "Nooooo, mommiiieeeee....I want Taco Bell! I wanna taco! And a toy! I was a good boy at schoooool. Pleeeeeeze??" So, off we went to Taco Bell. Needless to say...I fell off the bandwagon. I ate a burrito supreme, a taco supreme and a beef meximelt! When I finished, I just about died! I felt soooo baaaad!

Well, I had a weak moment. Just thought I'd share. Daggumed kids....:grumble:

That's ok! Take a deep breath.....today is another day!!! You will be ok!!! :)

Next time they want Taco Bell, try the Fresco Style Chicken Border Bowl! It is FANTASTIC...has the beans, rice, chicken, lettuce, tomato and a fresh salsa. They leave off the chips, cheese, dressing...etc...and it's 35 cals and has like 10 g of fiber!! I get that when I go to the mall sometimes and am tired of Subway! hahahaha!

Or any of the Fresco Menu stuff is good! They just use this fresh pico de gallo type of salsa instead of the cheese and sauces. I actually PREFER it even if I wasn't trying to eat healthier.

It's okay. Take a deep breath, forgive yourself and remember TODAY IS A NEW DAY. (I have to tell myself that a lot.) I've only been on here since April, but since then I have had at least 2, maybe three days where I totally fell off the band wagon (and I'm not even a member of the band:laugh: ). I have still lost 15 pounds since April 16th!

Also, next time you go to the store, when you're not hungry, grab yourself some alternatives that you can keep in the car like Southbeach Diet Bars, Pria Bars, snack packs of nuts or raw nuts are better; apples, carrots, etc (of course you gotta watch that those don't go bad  )

    You can do it, Girl!

Tamy, we are into deep breathing I see (posted at the same time lol)

Yes, now I make better choices when my kids still want something "drive-thru". However, I still don't eat Mcdonalds, munched a few fries from my son's happy meal last week (it had been a long time since I had any) and they actually tasted gross!!! I felt the greasy coating taste in my mouth. So now I know I can pass them up!!!
