Feeling determined...finally!

Hi everyone!

I'm Tracy, a stay-at-home mother of 2 little ones. I was in shape before my first child, got somewhat in shape after she was born and was pregnant again with my 2nd when the first was only 7 months old. My second will be 3 in March...and I am finally determined to get back in shape.

It was a New Year's resolution of sorts. I started toward the beginning of January. I joined a gym that offers cheap daycare and as part of my present, my husband is on board with giving me the time I need when I don't bring the kids.

I started out about 167lbs. I am 5'9" and I would like to be around 148ish. I have been as low as 138, but with my height and bone structure, it was just too skinny. I want to be healthy, active and not obsessed with weight. I am at a place right now where I am really looking forward to my workouts.

Taking it one day at a time, not feeling guilty for slip ups and making my mind up that this is a lifestyle change, not a diet. :-) Looking forward to connecting with everyone here for support!

    Welcome to MFP, this is a wonderful place with wonderful, amazing people. It is easy to use and if you ever have any questions on anything, MFP related or not, we are here to offer you answers, suggestions and just simple support and motivation as well.
