REPOST: How many calories does a hula hoop burn?

Sorry, the subject got cut off...But I was just wondering how many calories are burned when using a 3-lb hula hoop. Thanks!

    I would love to know too, mine is 2.5 pounds. I can't actually get to to work for very long but I'm trying every day.
    I have the hoopnotica dvd, it was helpful

    Hmmmm...have u searched online?? When i do Super Hula Hoop on the Wii....i burn about 33 calories in 6 minutes...

    Buy a heart rate monitor and find out! Seriously, it's the best solution becuase everyone is so different.

    In our little group, and I forget how they found it out, but our dance hoops (1-2lbs, 36-40 inch) can burn 200-400 calories per hour depending on what type of hooping and additional movements you're doing. So I agree with the heart monitor. :D
