Balancing Act

Options
I usually get to my limits of protein and fat before I use up my calories for the day.

A typical day has me eating mixed veggies with 2 eggs in a non-stick skillet, an apple for snack, poultry with low fat beans and corn for lunch, crackers and low fat pb for snack, then a spinach salad with cucumber, tomatoes, green peppers and a protein for dinner. If I get hungry later, I have another apple. I usually exercise at night, 300-500 calories.

I'm just trying to get the hang of it - haven't lost any weight in a week, although I'm below calories and above in protein every day.

Any suggestions?

just keep going, it will come off. it sounds like your doing everything right. Dont eat back all your calories. just make sure you refuel after the workout

skip the crackers and maybe try lower carbs in general

Skip more carbs? I haven't hit my carbs target once.

the default settings here are really low for protein. You can change them. The more I read/hear the better I think protein is for weight loss/lean mass retention. Also it looks like you are eating unrefined foods which is great!
