Tubes?

Okay, so here I am 229lbs and still in shock. Got my tubes tied years back and have consistently gained 9lbs a year since. Now, I am not going to lie, I could definitely exercise more consistently and eat less but I never thought things were out of control. The mirror tells me differently. Had everything checked and the docs don't see anything really except maybe genetics. Well, I don't want to go with that. I am diving in here (again) and will just keep trying but I fear the trying has got me this far. I know diets don't work so I am just going with "learning a new way". I do love the body-for-life meals and cook them every day for me and my family. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced hormonal weight loss or takes all month to loose the weight gained for each cycle? Really stinks.
