The Best Turkey .....
Chili ever!
This is very tasty, easy to make and only 260 cals in 1.25 cups. Give it a try...I just had some tonight for dinner. :drinker:
Turkey and White Bean Chili
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Med diced onion
2 Tablespoons minced garlic
1 pd ground turkey
4 Tablespoons each of cumin and chili powder
1 15 oz can of cannellini beans rinsed and drained
2-10 oz cans of Rotel tomatoes with green chili's
1 Tablespoon of Cayenne Pepper.....2 if ya like it hot
1 to 2 cups of low sodium chicken broth ( depends on how soupy you like your chili!)
Heat oil and stir in onion and garlic for about 5 min.
Add turkey til browned then add spices stirring often.
Add beans, chicken broth and tomatoes.
Bring to a boil and let simmer til you are ready to eat.
Per serving:
260 cals, 5 g fat, 1/2 g sat fat, 34 g protein, 21 g carbs, 6 g fiber, 500mg sodium
