Took a tumble... rest or gym?

Last night, I slipped on ice and fell down my back porch steps. I'm pretty achy and miserable today. Bruises on my arms, legs and tush. Would it be best to take a day off from the gym, or take some Advil, power through it, and enjoy the endorphin rush?
I refuse, however, to get on a bike or do any strength training that requires sitting. Ow, my bummy!!! :blushing:

I say take a day to rest. No use in going to workout when you are that sore and taking the chance of really hurting yourself worse. Take a day to recoup.0

Maybe do some yoga or swimming.. Something to stretch out your muscles and not overwork them. Hope you feel better soon. Ouch:(0

Total rest isn't an option, since the inlaws are visiting from out of town tomorrow and I still have lots of cleaning to do, but maybe just a nice long walk with the dog - NOT ON ICE! - would be ok later.0
