Hi, new here. I need to just lose 20-30 lbs. I have been about 170 my adult life and recently have gained about 35 lbs. I am 37, and it seems to be harder and harder to lose every year, LOL!

I dont really care about aesthetics... I just want to be healthy and have more energy. I plan to calorie count, and exercise every day. I have been very successful at both in the past.

    Welcome, by the way :) This is a great place for helping to keep track of intake. I like being able to see the ratio of my proteins/carbs/sugar, and the vitamins. It's also great for support. People here are awesome.

    20-30lbs is pretty manageable and can be done in a reasonable time if you stick to your calorie counting. It goes even faster with exercise.

    Hey Sean, so glad to see you here. We can do it! If you ever want to do any of the group classes with me at Lifestyle (Zumba, yoga, Body Jam, Body Combat, etc.), you can come as my guest. I love it and I never thought I'd say that about going to a gym!
