I'm doing it this year, its for a really good cause
basically its

"go without food or something else that really matters to you for 40* hours and raise money for kids living in poverty overseas. It's a great way for young Australians to get a taste of what life's like for children who have to go without - every single day."

sorry just had to share:ohwell:

Sounds kind of like Lent to me :)

Don't do it to lose weight. Do it for the cause, and your heart will feel so full.

I've walked a marathon and am doing a bike race in the name of my Aunt who died of glioblastoma multiforme....

There are so many ways to support good causes...and to do an active thing or to give up something like chocolate, beer, fast food etc...and divert those funds to a cause are a great way, IMO to do the mind/body connection.

My 2 cents for what it's worth... :)
