i have a huge baby pooch and i was wondering if anyone else out there had one and how much weight you had to lose to see a difference. i see some changes in the upper part of my tummy, but it makes the pooch look that much worse.

I too have the baby pooch...and it's 15 months later. Of course, I didn't really start trying to lose it until almost a year later. And I also had a C-section so it's DEAD. I asked the other day about it, and I guess it does go down. I haven't really noticed it going down, but my pants fit better, so it must be doing something!

Good question. I cant wait to see the answers. Like you my baby pooch looks worse the more weight I lose. It seems I am losing everywhere but there and it just makes it look bigger to me. I have 3 kids. A 3yo and 9mo twins and both were a c-setion.

Yes, I too suffer from the dreaded baby pooch :( I started doing reverse crunches a few weeks ago and that seems to help. My stomach is definitely my trouble zone before AND now even more after a c-section.
  • I've had 4 kids, including a set of twins. I've noticed the "pooch" as you call it, (good name btw), shrinking. I don't expect it to go away completely, there have been other post on this same subject from Mommys who've lost 20-30lbs, but still have a bit of that pooch. So keep up your good work!

I too have the dreaded pooch after 3 kids. I've lost 40 lbs and can tell it's going down but it can't go down fast enough for me. Good luck and hang in there.

I have 4 kids, two singletons and a set of twins. I'm down 88lbs so far and what I have noticed is that my pooch area seems to be flattening and shrinking. I have hope that eventually it will be gone, just takes some hard work. I think it is true what they say though, the stomach area is the hardest and last place to lose.
  • I have a baby pooch after losing 20.5 pounds. I am currently doing 30 day shred to help tighter the areas up and eventually moving to no more trouble zones. When I was first losing weight I was just walking and not doing any ab workout so I think that was my big mistake.
