I had lost about 40 lbs. two years ago and in the course of 2010 I gained 38 back =(. Needless to say I feel horrible;I felt so much better health wise when I had lost the weight. Well three weeks ago I dropped all types of beverages and I only drink about half a cup of orange juice in the morning and the rest of the day I drink only water. I also got back on my ellyptical/bike and exercise for 30 minutes at least 4 times a week. I lost 4lbs. doing this.

I installed the my fitness app on my phone this past Monday, Jan. 17 and in addition to what I was doing before, I am now tracking my calories. I have been on myfitnesspal for just 4 days and I have lost 1 more pound! Total lost so far in the past 3 weeks is 5lbs.! I am so excited and motivated and I will lose the 38lbs. I gained back and more!! I love this site!

WOO HOO! congratulations on your weightloss. I too lost about 40 pounds about 2 years ago...and then gained it all back, plus some! So I definitely know how you feel...it sucks, but just like you said, we can do it!

Glad that the site works for you and you've already dropped some weight!

Isn't it awesome being able to see how many calories you ate/are going to eat? I love that about this site. I hated keeping track of what I ate using pen and paper. This site/app makes it so easy.
