Hello fellow MFP ers! I am looking for a good recovery drink for after high cardio workouts, what I mean is I usually will work out between 3 to 4 hours a day doing a mixture of things including running, weight training and kickboxing. There are so many recovery drinks out there but I'm looking for one to hydrate and repair muscles. I already drink protein in the morning and drink alot of water, any suggestions?

My trainer told me to drink 4-6 oz. of low-fat chocolate milk after our workouts. Seems strange, but she said it is a good way to replenish what the body needs after a heavy workout. So now it is something I look forward to as I'm driving home from the gym.0
