hi all!
found this website quite randomly on my android phone. Needed something to kickstart my weight loss again! i had lost 18lbs and found that i couldnt shift anymore weight. so decided to give this a go!
I found the first few days quite challenging as ive never given a thought about how many calories food had etc! so now im a bit more aware and am starting to make healthier choices.
my job keeps me quite active as im constantly walking, getting up and down flights of stairs etc. but when it asked me about my activity i said mostly on my feet- so im on 1200 calories. is this too little? do i need to eat more?
thanks!

When you are done with your workday hit the exercise tab and type in how long you are walking around, then it will give you extra calories you can consume for that day!0

Welcome!
Listen to your body. If 1200 isn't enough, increase by 100 calories or so. See how you feel and adjust as needed. You know best. According to MFP, I get 1230 and I'm always over. I'd die on 1230.

As you add your food and exercise the calories will adjust. If I burn 600 calories at the gym then I need to eat more to support the work out. Stay away from empty calories like soda, flavored energy water or energy drinks. I had to reprogram my brain on what is really good for you. Fat Free or Sugar Free doesn't always mean its good. I found meeting with a trainer and nutritionist a few time was good for me. Its more one on one. They can help you get started in the right direction.0
