Hi All,
I am 5 days in and have been very good and meeting or exceeding all of my daily goals. I have 478 calories remaining and still need to get on the treadmill. Today is day 5 and I am feeling very tired. Has anyone else experienced this kind of lull in the first week? Is it okay to take a break a few days a week on exercise or not recommended? Suggestions and supportive friend requests welcome. :) Good luck to everyone.

  • I'm just starting my second week here and have found in the past that the first 1-3 weeks tend to be the most challenging. Once we get past the little hump of our bodies adjusting to all the changes it gets a little easier. Main thing is to make sure you aren't setting your weekly weight loss goal too high or your daily caloric intake too low. You need to net at least 1200 calories a day (so I've been told) to stay out of starvation mode. I hope this helps...

Its more than okay to give your body a day or two a week to rest. I exercise 5-6 days and do no or light activity on the 7th day.

especially the first week. that was hard, but just gotta keep remembering that tomorrow is another day and keep at it.

As long as you're staying within your calories you should be fine without exercise. You gotta listen to your body and if it says rest then rest!

I felt great the first week, but I'm starting my second week and I'm feeling sluggish. We'll get through it! The first few weeks are going to be rough, but we'll get through it :)
