Hello!
Im' Mikaela and I am new to this site... in the past (high school) I was always a super athlete, and had very little to no body fat and was really active. When I got to college, I started not working out all the time like I used to and instead got in the habit of eating ridiculous amounts of food combined with partying. I started to put on weight, but It worked for me for a couple of years because I had begun to fill out nicely haha. I tried to hit the rec regularly but that was mostly for socialization purposes rather that fitness purposes. Pretty much I got lazy.

Fast forward a few years, to the present. I am a graduate student, I am super busy all day, usually I don't eat the way that I should and I am too tired to go to the gym. I don't have the body I used to. I am not fat by any means, I just am not up to the level that I am satisfied with, so its time for a change!! Hopefully myfitnesspal will make me more cognizant of what I do and will help me to meet my goals!

I have a similar story, except I was in great shape when I was a freshman/sophomore in college...but I'm now a grad student so I absolutely sympathize with the no time part...
    Good luck!

I don't have money or time to hit the gym so i use exercise DVD''s from the library and programs through Comcast ON Demand. I love it cause I'm in the privacy of my own home. Welcome : )
