So this week was a very lazy week for me due to exams and such, I didn't exercise at all and didn't eat as healthily as I would of liked, even went over my calorie goal twice I think!
Yet I still lost 2lb this week, when usually I go to the gym about 3 times a week and on those weeks only lose 1!
This happen to anyone else? Unexpected changes?

It's easier to lose muscle when you aren't working out. It's not just muscle fibers but also the glycogen and water stored in those muscles to provide the necessary components of energy production during workouts. It doesn't take long to see those losses in strength and performance ability because the body is constantly burning fuel just to do the activities of daily living and may see tissues that aren't being used as a quick fuel source. When you gain a bit after starting a workout program, that is those same muscle fibers, glycogen, and water that you will need for exercise, so don't stress about gaining those few pounds back because they will help you burn off the fat later.0
