Does anyone know the ACTUAL calorie count in one avocado. There are a lot of discrepancies on the site of how much it is.

    I don't know the actual calorie count but I always use Avocado - raw, cubed.

    According to the USDA Nutrient Database:

    100 grams (all varieties) = 160 calories
    100 grams (california) = 167 calories
    100 grams (florida) = 120 calories

    I always thought the California Hass Avacados tasted better. Like most things that taste better to me, they appear to have more calories. But then again what's 40 extra calories between friends.
