Why is it so hard to get back after the break?

I have been working out sincerely for a month and bam.......... There was one week break. It has been a stressful week not doing so good in personal life, the work load is hectic and more over I am eating a TON. I am really getting nervous and I don't want to gain back all the pounds lost and waste all the effort I put in.
Whatever the reason was I feel sad. Am I finding reasons not to do or lost the motivation or am I just being lazy? Is it just me or did you guys had this feeling earlier. How did you guys overcome this ?

Work out! That way it will sort of make up for your overeating.
I hope things in your personal life get better!0 -
I think everyone goes through this at least once, i lost all motivation at the end of August.
It didn't come back until December 26th.
Maybe you just need a break, give yourself a bit of time.
It will come back0
