Over the years I fell into eating whatever and when ever. But I changed most foods I eat 2 months before I started tracking food and calories. I did it so id get used to eating healthier foods. I created a shelf in the fridge for the foods i liked. And it is really working for me to keep me on track.0

Hi there,
It's true...weight loss has to be a lifestyle change in order for it to work...NOW to actually be able to do it!! I find myself (time after time) having difficulty after the first month or so staying motivated. I've struggled with weight issues all of my adult life and NOW really need to lose weight now only because I want to fit into that cute little dress...but I have to think about my health.
This site seems great, this is my second week and I love the tools it offers. Support is definitely the key, nice to meet you both

I'm the same way. It takes so much to stay strong, and when weakness hits, I use it as an excuse to fall back. But something's really different this time & I'm realizing I can fall off a million times but the thing that matters is that I get back on and don't the let down times keep me down. Stay positive.0

Statistically speaking, it takes 6 weeks to form a new habit. So pick one simple goal, say getting all your water, and strive for that every day. As you become accustomed to achieving that goal daily, add another slightly bigger goal, say cutting trigger foods (sweets/carbs/whatever) that cause you to binge. Or getting in some exercise that you enjoy. And keep adding new better habits until the old ones fall away.
Along with the weight.
Good luck
