What's a great meal for the superbowl? I would like to do something fun for the superbowl, especially if Green Bay is there, and don't want to resort to the usual of chips and dip. Any ideas?

One year we had a make your own tortilla pizza party for Superbowl. Prepare the usual toppings for pizza (especially turkey pepperoni) and let people build their own pizza. The tortillas are small enough that you can put a bunch in the oven at once. Then just cut them in fours and eat.
This year we're doing a pasta/lasagna buffet with veggie dishes too.:drinker:

You can make wonderful low fat dips using 1% cottage cheese. Puree it in a food processor until smooth. Add a little low fat milk until you get the consistency you like. Add Onion Soup mix, and you have a ice onion dip. Add chopped dill pickles, pickle juice and fresh dill for another. Chili sauce and canned baby shrimp. The possibilities are endless. Serve with veggies or pita bread that you spray with olive oil, bake in the oven, dust with garlic powder, or onion powder, Parmesan cheese, the possibilities are endless...0
