I was doing so good and it didn't even seem hard and then after a "discussion":grumble: ...okay argument:mad: ....okay fight:explode: with dear hubby I completely lost my motivation - totally blew it for a week and GAINED SEVEN POUNDS!!!::sad:    I thought I was getting a handle on emotional eating, but guess I still have some work to do. Sometimes I feel like I'm juggling and more and more balls just keep getting added and I can't keep up with them all. Taking care of myself generally is the first to drop so like I said....... I need a maid or some help back on the wagon. I know I'll receive lots of encouragement and love from you guys (Y'all are GREAT!:smooched: ) but it would be really great if no one sees me around for a few days if someone could send me a message. Just knowing that someone was planning on doing that would probably be enough motivation to keep me accountable, but if not, opening a message that said, "We miss you sweetie," or even "Get you big behind back over here!" I'm sure would work. Thanks for always being here.:flowerforyou:

I still want to go and eat everything when the stress gets to me. But then I look in the mirror and tell myself NO you will not do this again and go for a walk or come to my support system MFP. I will keep an eye out and email you. Jump back on the wagon start a new day. Talk to yourself in the mirror LOL what ever it takes. You can do this for you. :drinker:

First off, I've gained that much weight in a week before and most of it is water weight and will be off in a week. So you are not that far off track. Second..... Make you a priority. No matter what. I COMPLETELY understand emotional eating. But I tell you, there is no greater gift and no better way to make yourself feel better then to take care of you first. How can you expect to care for others or the house if you are not taken care of. That's like trying to run errands on a empty tank. Also when you are upset and want to eat, just tell yourself no. Then I PROMISE you the next day you will feel better about yourself, then you will do something else for yourself cuz that felt so good, then it will just continue. Instead of going the other way. Hope that helps. Again, I understand... I eat because I'm happy, sad, mad, bored, for whatever reason I can dream up. But I always feel better about myself when I am in control.:flowerforyou:
