Which is more accurate?

I spent 32 minutes on the elliptical, striding about 132/spm on average. The machine tells me I've burned 250 calories. I add it to my exercise diary here, and it tells me that I've burned 401 calories. I'd love to go off of that number, but is it accurate?

I would suggest a HRM its a really good tool. I have noticed that the machines are off more then they are correct. You could always take an average of the two numbers
325.5
Depending on how long you were on the elliptical and how much you weigh.0 -
yup trust the machine. The website doesn't consider resistance or you slowing down or speeding up or incline.0
