So Thursday is my weigh in day at work (we are doing the biggest loser) so it's my splurge day! I had a decent breakfast but for lunch I had a coney dog and a frosty from Wendy's. I've earned a lot of excercise calories today so I have over 1000 calories for the rest of the day. Can I still lose even though I've eaten bad today? I don't know why I eat that crap, I always feel horrible/sick afterwards!!

you can but the day after you usually "gain" on the scale because fast food has so much sodium in it (water retention). don't be discouraged though! just work hard the next few days and don't eat so much sodium and you'll lose the water weight again. oh and avoid it entirely when you can because it does other bad things to your body, but I totally understand where you're coming from- I do it too. hope that helped! have a good day! :flowerforyou:0

hi am Lee
it depends...If u work it out
u could burn the calories u over got...
mostly a 2 hour work out?
thats what i do ....sometimes n when i eat way 2 much calories
....You could eat bad food like rearly not often or u will
gain weight...It depends on the body too...Not any one is the same:laugh:
Yes if it makes u sick dont eat!0 -
It's a good question, and the short answer is yes and no.
In the short term, bad food usually contains simple carbs and lots of em,
simple carbs are digested faster then the body can use it, so
what the body can't readilly use, it will store as fat. So too much bad
food will store fat even if you are eating less then your total calories.
but, since you are burning more total calories then you are consuming,
you will still probably lose some weight, just might end up having to
burn more fat, and along with that, a small amount of lean tissue. Not really
the best way to go about it. but in the short term, not a terribly bad thing.
In the long term, you are probably consuming too much bad fat, and too little
good for you stuff like fiber, protein, and minerals so I wouldn't make a habit
of it.0
