Or in simpler terms
Female - 6" medium frame
Smaller- s
Larger-l
Male- 7" medium frame
For more specific and accurate
see above chart0 -
So my wrist is 8.5" around...I stand 5'10" ... what does this mean..im just not understanding.
And how does this help me determine my ideal weight?0 -
Another method I found:
Wrap your thumb and major fingers around your smallest part of your wrist.
Small Frame -- the fingers overlap
Medium Frame -- the fingers barely touch
Large Frame -- the fingers don't touch0 -

I am not understanding the measurments either or how they relate to one another... could you post the link maybe?? Pretty sure I am medium to large frame....
But the only thing that this method does not include is muscle mass..... I am buff AND chubby.... I will stay heavy but the goal is to melt away the fat so I am not AS heavy and not AS flabby. lol But I will probably never be "my ideal" weight. Although the frame thing does give me a little more wiggle room0 -

I have a small frame from the one that you supplied lol Which I know is not accurate cause I have VERY broad hips and broad shoulders. There is also an elbow test.. that one say I am medium. It's interesting how there are so many huh?0 -

The link for the charts is

Wrist size and frame size is about bone structure- nothing to do with muscle size ( though larger bones support larger muscles but that's too complicated for here) I did not post weigh charts on here but most go according to frame size and height0
