Hi! I'm new to this site. I've been keeping track of my foods with a paper diary, but it's hard to do all the calculations to make it helpful. This site was recommended by a friend and looks very helpful. My biggest problem is staying motivated to take the time to do exercise. I started physical therapy this week and decided to use that as a jumpstart to include the rest of my body also. I am looking forward to reading tips and ideas from other members for staying motivated and keeping focused!

  • This site is incredible for tracking calories, I have never seen anything like it! And having lots of "friends" is a great motivator - I only have 20 or so friends so far and I am constantly seeing updates from people who have completed exercise. I had no plans to get off the couch today, but after seeing all of my friends getting out there and burning calories, I decided to spend an entire hour on my Wii Fit.

I've only been here for a couple days, but in all my years and years of dieting I have NEVER been more motivated. The people I have met are incredible!

I log my exercise and food for the day in the morning. That way I feel more compelled to do it. I didn't always feel like doing my exercise, but I would make myself get off that couch and get moving. It becomes a habit after awhile. I find now that I get stiff and sore if I don't do it.

What a great idea - logging your plan in am helps keep you to it!
