I was just thinking, as I sit here eating my salad, how I went from not eating enough (food that wasn't always healthy either) to making better food choices......and now, I feel like I'm eating all the time to meet my calorie needs!!

I love it! As long as I eat about every 2 1/2 hours, I'm rarely hungry, and I hardly have any cravings for things I used to crave -- like sweets!

I feel like this too! Now that I don't eat sugar or pasta/bread type items, I'm constantly eating to get the calories up. It's really kind of crazy how the type of calorie you're eating makes a big difference in how much you CAN eat!
  • I totally agree with you. I hardly ever meet my calorie goal and yet I eat and eat all day long. My co-workers are always saying, "Eating again?! I thought you were on a diet?" LOL!

I had to laugh last Thursday -- I got a late start on the day, so through the afternoon every so often I kept going out to the kitchen to grab the next item on my list. My fiance' kept giving me this look, lol.

And I have to say...I'm really enjoying all this energy too. Normally, I hate Monday mornings. I'm not looking forward to going to work tomorrow, but I am looking forward to my workout in the morning!

I know! It's crazy! Sometimes I won't have time to log each meal as I eat them (I remember what I've eaten all day, surprisingly) so I feel like I'm eating so much, then when I finally get it in I am either right at my target or a bit below. It's nice not feeling hungry all the time!

Also, I've begun to look forward to my workouts too! I was always lazy, never wanting to get up and get out. Now I love going to the gym!

You are so not kidding. Since I have switched to a more scientific/nutritious diet, I actually feel guilty sometimes like I am eating so much. I use to live on fast food, sweets, bad carbs. I might as well had a direct iv feeding me pepsi. Now I eat 4-5 meals, high fiber, good carbs and fats, lean protein. I very seldom have cravings or hunger, am losing weight, and feel better than ever.
