My food diary is public and I was curious as to what other peoples opinions are on how and what I eat.

Any advice is welcome! :flowerforyou:

and my "Cruskit Sandwich" contains 2 cruskits, 1 laughing cow wedge, 6 slices of cucumber and 2 cherry tomatos if your curious.

and I don't log weekends! And I drink 3 or more litres of water a day...

Thanks :drinker:

More protein & you should add sugar and fiber to the list of macronutrients you watch. Fiber is very important to weight loss. I struggle to get in a lot and need to make sure I'm getting more but when I am getting a lot of fiber in, it's a lot easier for me to lose weight, so that's a tip for ya!

For protein, I would say 25% - not sure what you're set at right now, but it doesn't look like enough.

Also, do you track your water?
  • I think you need more protein! And veggies/fruit. You should aim to get 1-2 servings of fruit and 5-10 servings of veggies. Other then that, I'd say your doing pretty good!
One question though...why do you take weekends off? I notice you don't log foods on Saturday/Sunday...you need to be consistent!

Looks fine to me, BUT don't u ever get sick of just cereal for breakfast LOL?
  • I was going to suggest more protein as well. Whether it's an egg or egg whites for breakfast with a slice of bacon, or maybe some nuts as a snack, or garbanzo beans/chickpeas on your salad? Or maybe some peanut butter with an apple? Also a lot of the whole wheat pastas are full of protein and would probably add a few more calories to get you over that 1200 net goal.
  • Yummy!

It all looks really good to me. Lots of fresh food! The only thing I picked up on was that there isn't much variety - I mean, if it works for you then keep it up, but I know if I eat the same thing (ie tuna salad) for a while, I'll get so sick of it I won't want to ever see it again lol!

The only other thing would be to maybe try and cut back on the 2 sugars at breakfast time - although the rest of your diet seems quite low in sugar so it might not be a big deal. I know there are some things I absolutely refuse to give up!

Keep up the great work! :flowerforyou:

I don't tend to make on the computer on weekends. But i eat pretty much the same on the weekends then i do during the week but i do allow myself a few treats over the weekends.

I drink 3 or more litres of water a day :drinker: just don't log it

BlueEyedMomma- I like my cereal.. I eat breakfast at work ( I start at 730am) so its something easy to take to work. I do vary which ones i buy..and in winter is oatmeal every morning

amysambora- yep i eat a lot of salad and tuna. LOL I do take left overs occasionally but i love salad in summer.

Shamrock... :blushing: yep i know i struggle with 1200 calories. :ohwell: I'm trying to be a bit more conscious of now being too far under.. I have a pasta and bread problem as in I'll eat way too much so I try to steer clear when i can LOL But I have pasta on the menu for this week. Will look into adding more protein to my salad though i tend to forget about things i can add to it to help boost calories. :flowerforyou:
