Sweet Tea a la HG!
PER SERVING (1/3rd of recipe, 1 glass): 18 calories, 0g fat, 0mg sodium, 4g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g sugars, 0g protein -- POINTS® value 0*
This is no ordinary tea, people. It's a Southern specialty with a guilt-free twist!
Ingredients:
4 tea bags, black tea (or your favorite tea)
1/2 cup Splenda No Calorie Sweetener (granulated)
3 3/4 cups cold water
Directions:
Place tea bags in a heat-safe medium pitcher (hang tags over the top, if you prefer), and set aside. In a medium pot, combine water and Splenda. Over medium heat, bring to a boil. Once water reaches a full boil, pour over the tea bags. Allow to steep for 5 minutes. Then remove tea bags, and refrigera te until chilled. Enjoy exactly as is, or over some ice!
