My family and I will be hosting a SuperBowl party! I am looking for low fat, low calorie snacks, and meal ideas that I can serve at the party. I would like to eat fun party type foods without feeling guilty, and the guests feeling like they have been forced to eat "diet food". We hosted last nights playoff party, (I did not provide the food, as had worked all day and had been sick for most of the week). My mother and Grandmother, and one neighbor brought the food, and I felt like I could only eat the fruit and veggies(though I did eat some of the other food) I totally failed myself and my goals!!!!! Please help!!!!!!!

Try this website www.skinnytaste.com. She has plenty of appetizers, dips, etc. Lighter Buffalo Chicken Dip, Skinny Taco Dip, Baked Wings, Spinach Dip....Good luck!

    you can serve:

veggie platter with hummus or ranch dip made with plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream
    fruit salad or skewers-very decorative
    apples and caramel dip
    chicken and pineapple skewers
    cucumber rye finger sandwiches
salsa with whole grain or blue corn tortilla chips
    veggie salad
baked potato bar that way you can choose what you eat with it

    As always, a veggie tray.
Baked tortilla chips with salsa is always good
I also have been making my own "boneless wings" using, chicken tenders, that are awesome!
You can also do tortilla wraps (pinwheels) with fat free cream cheese and salsa
Finger sandwiches with lite bread - I just bought the Sara Lee 45 calorie bread and it is full of flavor!
Potato Skins with fat free cheese, bacon bits and scallions
Mini pizzas, using an english muffin split in two, topped with sauce and cheese, ham, onion (whatever toppings you want)
