Today is my first day in starting to lose weight. Currently I weigh more than I did while I was pregnant. I want so badly to get back into shape! Does anyone have a trick to stop the cravings for junk food snd pop?

ITS HARD AT FIRST...BUT AFTER U EAT HEALTHLY FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS...MOST OF IT DOESNT EVEN TASTE GOOD ANYMORE....NOW THE DRINKS ...I HAVE THIS ISSUE ADDICTED TO DT MT DEW...BUT I HAVENT HAD ONE IN A WEEK...JUST FINALLY DECIDED I WAS DOING ALL THIS HARD WORK AND DIETING AND THEY WHERE HOLDING ME BACK...DRINKING LOTS OF WATER AND GREEN TEA NOW
  • I have the same problem!! I have learned that I still need to snack. Just working toward HEALTHIER snacks. Instead of Ice Cream all the time, I turn to Sugar Free Pudding, made with Skim milk...I try Yogurt, Peanuts/Nuts, and sometimes I indulge a little bit with an Oatmeal Cream Pie. But, the more Water I drink, the less I am likely to FEEL hungry.

SO, STILL SNACK...if you try not to, you will go crazy and NOT do anything. But, change your snacks to more healthier snacks. i.e. Sugar Free/Fat free pudding, Yogurt, nuts, fruits, & veggies.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!

The first week is HARD! When you get a craving, drink water or get in some exercise. Eventually you will replace the cravings with good habits! It also helped me to journal the reasons I was wanting to eat. Are you actually hungry or looking for something to fill a feeling or void? When you look at that you are able to find the hard times of your day, or the feelings that coincide with cravings.
