HR, Calories and Calculators

Hi. I found my old HRM (one that does not calculate calories burned), put some new batteries in it and worked out. I knew where my heart rate was and for how long. The hard part was trying to figure out how this translates into calories burned. I found a few calculators one at
http://www.gersic.com/calories/
and one at
http://www.triathlontrainingblog.com/post/calories-burned-calculator-based-on
-average-heart-rate/
The first one calcualted calories burned at 418 and the second one calculated calories burned at 487.
Not sure which is right, should I just take the average and say close enough? Any thoughts? Do you have a better calculator?
Thanks
