Foods you only use thanks to MFP...

Since I started on here there are a number of foods which are always in my posession that had NEVER been there before... here are a few...
-Canned pumpkin
-Tofu
-Fat free EVERYTHING
-Jello and cake mixes
What about the rest of you? Have anything else you never bought before MFP?

I still eat all the same stuff I used to, but my portions are no longer out of control. One thing that I have tried, thanks to another MFP member, is the Smucker's All Natural Peanut Butter. Yummy0

BTW - what is the canned pumpkin like? How do you eat it? Sounds like it has potential...0 -
Canned pumpkin is amazing.. you can use it in place of compote on pancakes, you can use it with just about any cake mix and make great baked goods for a fraction of the calories/fat/sodium, mix it with whipped cream... your imagination is the limit0

alot more fresh fruits
alot more fresh veggies
I can't believe it not butter spray 0 calories use it for about everything saute, toast,eggs etc
BYW those green bags that are advertised on tv and sold here at Giant Eagle are really great and do have veggie & fruit last much longer!!!!

Barilla High Protein Pasta (Angel Hair)
Among other meals...I love to use it as lo-mein for homemade stir fry.

Gosh there are so many to name. I use to be able to eat anything! Gettin old stinks! :grumble:0 -
Here is a pumpkin recipe i eat year round, but it's especially great in the fall!!!
one large can pumpkin
2 packages sugar free pudding one vanilla one butterscotch
1 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
3 cups milk
1/2 small container ff cool whip
just mix it all together and let it chill....sooo good:drinker:0 -

I have a good pumpkin harvest soup that I created and is REALLY good....its under the foods as Harvest Pumpkin Soup I think LOL...been awhile...
oh one item that I can't live w/out thanks to a certain MFPer Miss TamTastic...ASIAN SLAW! I never had broccoli slaw before and now its a staple in my house...love it!!! (and her :flowerforyou: )
